Try the "beach-less-taken" approach (apologies!) a nice, long, peaceful stretch of pristine sand at the mouth of the Savannah river. If you're into shell collecting, dolphin watching, with the occasional super-container-ship, this is your place! Parking spaces are few, so you may have to walk a few blocks - that's OK, walk-the-walk and see why the rich & famous quietly enjoy "Tybee-Time" on their own, little stretch of heaven!
