We camped in site #82 4 nights and loved it all except for a trail experience. But first - our lovely site sat high on a NW facing bluff. It has an odd little deck with a sliding gate - great if we had a pet or toddler. Short walk to very clean bathrooms and we used the laundry ($1 ea for W or D). A dry front blew in one night at 3 am and it was crazy windy in our little TT. It has an odd little deck with a sliding gate - great if we had a pet or toddler. Short walk to very clean bathrooms and we used the laundry ($1 ea for W or D). A dry front blew in one night at 3 am and it was crazy windy in our little TT. Enough so that on our departure day when a very stormy rain front was coming we left at dawn. 3 of us decided to walk the 1.5 mile campground loop trail which begins near the dump station. On the map it was marked red & black then it separates to just black. The trail was marked white and a yellowish green. Saw some red blazes but zero black. So we missed that turn and wound up near the Beach!! Long walk down the main road back. Luckily we were up to the 6.7 miles we walked!! Nice and helpful office staff. A great stay just need trails marked better.
