West Bank Park
West Bank Park is on the west side of the dam. It is a great place for families. There are a couple of beaches for swimming, a walk around the lake, and picnic tables galore for picnics. About West Bank Park
West Bank Park is on the west side of the dam. It is a great place for families. There are a couple of beaches for swimming, a walk around the lake, and picnic tables galore for picnics. I can't count the number of times I've taken the kids here to swim. We've had birthday parties at the picnic pavilions, walked our dog, and fished. It is a popular place for boaters to pull up and use the picnic tables. The park is at its best when the water is high but we've used it when the lake is low in the summer and the water seems even more refreshing. There is a daily fee but you can buy a season pass that lets you into any Lake Lanier park.Reviews
