This park is one of the largest in Georgia, with miles of frontage to the mighty Chattahoochee River. We came here for the trails, but there are tons of things to do here. About Chattahoochee Bend State Park

This park is one of the largest in Georgia, with miles of frontage to the mighty Chattahoochee River. We came here for the trails, but there are tons of things to do here. There are boat entry points, camping - prepared sites, walk in sites, and even shelters, playgrounds, a beautiful park office and store. Great, clean, facilities near the major trailheads and a great lookout tower that provided very pretty views. The trails includes one that goes the length of the park, with at least a couple of miles of river views. Trail is one way and goes up and down the bluffs, and ends at a small bathroom facility and picnic table. Bring your water and your camera - beautiful, peaceful, hikes await you!
