At Backwoods Whitetails Outfitters we pick just a few select weeks each year to conduct some prime hunting for the ever so illusive Illinois whitetail buck. Whether it's archery, crossbow, muzzle loader or shotgun hunting, ALL of our hunts are 100% wild & fair chase guided hunts on privately owned farm ground. Each hunter and/or group of hunters are given their own farm/farms to hunt on, for their entire time while hunting at Backwoods Whitetails. It is basically like having your own Illinois hunting lease for a week that has been consistently monitored with several trail cams and where there is a guide to help you with understanding the current deer activities. Hunters can start from one of our preset stands that we have already set in prime & proven locations and serious hunters will enjoy knowing that they also have the total freedom to move on their own to succeed, while still having the assistance of a guide. Each year we consistently & successfully harvest several trophy class bucks from our leases. Best of all, each and every hunter was able to relax in the stand "WITHOUT HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE HASSLE OF ANTLER MINIMUMS, TROPHY FINES OR FEE'S". Yes that is correct! Each year we have allowed our hunters to harvest an animal of their choosing and we still harvest trophy class whitetails. Every year our camp reaches annual overall success rates from 55% - 68% on trophy class whitetail bucks. Some of those individual weeks also being where our hunters had achieved 100% success on harvesting bucks. Each hunt includes meals & lodging that is complete with private guest rooms, a scent free laundry facility, large indoor trophy care & meat processing area, wireless internet access, Cable TV, bathrooms and showers.
