For over five decades, Whatshan Guides and Outfitters has been synonymous with exceptional guided hunts in the rugged and breathtaking landscapes of southeastern British Columbia. Founded in 1972 by Ken Robbins, our family-run business has deep roots in this pristine wilderness, located on the shores of Whatshan Lake near Nakusp, BC.
We are more than just a guiding service; we are a family passionate about sharing the thrill of the hunt and the beauty of our natural heritage. Our lakeside basecamp, with comfortable heated cabins on Whatshan Lake, serves as the perfect base for your adventure, offering access to some of the finest populations of Mountain Goat, Shiras Moose, Black Bear, Mule Deer, and freshwater fishing in all of Canada.
